Reggae music artist Lambani Dube, says he is preparing to release a new music compilation titled “Journey of the Legend”, which contains 300 songs.

Dube says the album will be launched on 25 December this year at Masintha Ground in Lilongwe after which it will also be launched in Ndirande on 31 December, Machinjiri on 1 January, and Zomba towards the end of January 2027.

Dube has confirmed that all the album launch events will be free of charge.

‘‘All the launch events will be free of charge because the aim is to interact with the girl child. I want them realise they were not created only to bear children but to play the role of a helper to their partners as they contribute to the economic growth of the society,’’ Dube stressed.

The Reggae artist, who was known by his real name Limbani Banda in his early career days, also disclosed that he recorded most of the songs himself at his recording studio called Sound Slaves in Old Naisi, Zomba.
